VOORHEES, N.J. — The Flyers on Monday extended qualifying offers to restricted free agents Trevor Zegras, Jamie Drysdale, Nikita Grebenkin and Hunter McDonald.
The club did not issue offers to Karsen Dorwart, Christian Kyrou, Philip Tomasino, Artem Guryev, Tucker Robertson and Brett Harrison, making them unrestricted free agents.
The deadline to submit qualifying offers was Monday at 5 p.m. ET. The offers expire July 15 at 5 p.m. ET and can’t be accepted until Wednesday at noon ET, the start of NHL free agency. Essentially, qualifying offers officially kick off the negotiation process.
The Flyers are not expected to have any real problems re-signing their RFAs before training camp in September. But it can take time, sometimes all summer. In 2019-20, Travis Konecny missed the first three days of camp before re-signing.
Zegras and Drysdale are the two big ones this summer. Zegras is coming off a career resurgence in his first season with the Flyers, while Drysdale took noticeable strides on both sides of the puck.
Dorwart, Kyrou, Tomasino, Guryev, Robertson and Harrison all spent time with AHL affiliate Lehigh Valley in 2025-26. Dorwart was a college free-agent signing and the other five were acquired in trades.
