The Penguins acquired winger Nick Robertson from Toronto in exchange for a 2028 fourth-round pick.
Robertson is a restricted free agent. His last contract was a one-year deal that paid $1.825 million.
Robertson, 24, has spent his entire career with the Maple Leafs after being selected second overall in 2019. He scored 32 points (16 goals, 16 assists) in 78 games last season.
Robertson is the younger brother of Stars forward Jason Robertson.
