Lincoln residents witness moose calf being chased by bear in northern Maine

PORTLAND (WGME) – Some routine sightseeing turned into an unbelievable wildlife encounter for two Lincoln residents when they came across a black bear chasing a moose calf in northern Maine.

The couple were watching an adult moose when the calf burst out of the woods and ran toward their truck, with the bear pursuing it.

They were able to scare the bear away with their car and later saw the moose calf reunited with its mother, heading away from where they saw the bear.
