Cat With ‘Face of a Lemur’ Flashes Perfectly Pink Tongue and It’s Magnificent originally appeared on Parade Pets.

There are a few telltale signs when a cat is gearing up for a playtime mamma jamma. If it’s not the ever-adorable airplane ears pinned back or the frazzled furry arch, maybe they’ll hit you with the bulging eyes while they circle your hand or toes. Whatever it is, you feel it coming.

King Bobo does all these things, and more. As a cat with the resemblance of a lemur, he could easily be confused with the wild animal, especially on his path to attack mode when his face really morphs into lemur territory!

Maybe it’s the humongous lemon drop eyes or the pink pomegranate tongue, but I don’t see a kitty here, only a lemur. Hanging off the chair like that only adds to Bobo’s lore. Where’d you learn that, king, the jungle?

Sticking the tongue out with a “blep” is the icing on the cake here, and I’m not sure if that’s a definite *choice* or beyond his control. Either way, he nailed it.

Cat parents are all too familiar with the warning signs that only get more pronounced the feistier they feel. The bigger the eyes and the flatter the ears—it means you’ve got about 3 seconds before you’re on the receiving end of their cute wrath!

King Bobo has a lot of things going for him, and many of them are hilarious, but he didn’t always look like he could be a sassy character in The Lion King. The young boy is still living in his kitten era and only just joined his new family in mid-July.

Even a few weeks ago, the lemur features hadn’t yet settled in. In fact, he looks like your everyday Tabby kitten, soft downy fur and all. It makes me wonder at what point did he morph into a jungle kitty.

King Bobo’s Sister Isn’t a Fan

Despite his good looks and easy-breezy charm, sweet Bobo has yet to earn his elder cat sister Fibi’s acceptance. The two have been trying to figure things out since he became part of the fam, but she’s just not that into him.

Maybe it has to do with him being half lemur, but I’m sure she’ll come around once she understands he’s still a baby and babies often annoy their older siblings—it comes with the job! In the meantime, King Bobo will keep doing… whatever it is he does (and adorably so)!
