Coronation Street fans think they have spotted a ‘missing’ detail in the case against Megan Walsh as the trial is set to come to a dramatic close.
As those who follow the ITV soap know, the groomer ended up on the cobbles later last year after Will Driscoll refused to move to Weatherfield.
He complained to his family about having to leave his athletics training behind, with Megan working as his coach, after his dad, Ben Driscoll, surprised his partner Eva Price by moving from Hull to the street to run the Rovers Return.

But it was soon revealed to those watching that Will didn’t want to leave Hull because he was actually in a secret relationship with his coach, with the pair going on to sleep together just as he turned 16.
After months of sneaking around, Megan and Will’s relationship was finally exposed back in March after Sam Blakeman, who had sussed out what was going on and was being threatened by Megan into silence, ended up in hospital and eventually confessed what he knew to stepmother Leanne Battersby and her sister, Will’s stepmother, Eva.
Megan denied Sam’s claims, with Will backing her story. But the teen finally told the police the truth about his and Megan’s relationship, with DS Lisa Connor-Swain going on to charge Megan after questioning.

Despite his statement, Megan denied any wrongdoing, and the case has since gone to trial. The outcome is set to be revealed during Friday’s (July 3) edition of the long-running show, but it’s been a dramatic week in court, after Will retracted his original statement and claimed he made up the details of his and Megan’s relationship after being intimidated by her mother, Janine.
In response, Megan made up lies about Will’s family, claiming Ben was pushing his son’s running career due to his own sporting past, and how she simply became a support – but nothing more. During Thursday’s (July 2) episode of Corrie, Megan was shocked when Will returned to the stand, deciding to change his story once again after her lies about him and his family.
With proceedings adjourned ahead of the verdict, Megan was seen cornering Will around at the precinct and pushing him up against the wall, calling him ” a pathetic little boy” and claiming she only gave him the time of day “because I felt sorry for you”.
Corrie fans were rattled by the scenes as they looked for Will to get justice, but they couldn’t help but question why no one has mentioned the other boy Megan groomed, who was revealed to viewers earlier this year, which would strengthen the case against the predator.
@lesleynaylor1 asked: “Well what about the other lad did same to from other school?” @udamaejaxon replied: “My same question, that will nail the coffin for her.” @jamp1982 responded: “Yes that’s what I was wondering as well – I hope he comes forward to testify too!” @JustJamie252 also questioned: “What about the baby and what about the other lad who said he had a thing with Megan? #Corrie.” @craggsy82 added: “In #corrie can that lad that also ‘loved’ Megan just reappear and send the bitch down? Pls, for the love of God.”
