In tonight’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan confronts Geetanjali about her motives. Geetanjali responds by accusing him of pushing Maira to perform with Abhira despite Maira’s wish to dance with her. She blames him for taking Maira away from both of them, moving her to a new city and a different house, and now pressuring her to team up with Abhira for the performance. Geetanjali questions whether he has turned into someone who stands in the way of his own daughter’s happiness.

Armaan responds by pointing out that Geetanjali’s actions come from the fear that Abhira might replace her in Maira’s life and take on the role of her mother. He adds that her concern is valid, as this is bound to happen since Abhira is Maira’s biological mother.

However, Geetanjali expresses her frustration, saying Armaan had already taken away her chance to become Maira’s mother, and now he is trying to snatch the chance to be her dance partner. Geetanjali expresses her worry that if things continue this way, Armaan will eventually push her out of Maira’s life completely. Armaan urges her to see the situation from a broader perspective, explaining that Maira spending time with Abhira is important for both of them. He asks her to allow a few days without interference, reminding her that she was the one who had agreed to give Abhira a month’s time. He points out that if Geetanjali keeps using that limited period to spend time with Maira herself, Abhira will never get a fair chance to win her heart.

Geetanjali reacts by shifting the focus, saying her only aim is for Maira to win the competition. She believes this can only happen if Maira has a talented partner who is skilled in classical dance, which she considers herself to be. She questions why Armaan would want to do something that might upset Maira.

Their disagreement grows more heated, with Geetanjali insisting that in the end, Maira will perform with her. Armaan counters by saying that her overconfidence could backfire and that she doesn’t truly know what Abhira is capable of. He warns her not to underestimate Abhira, making it clear that Abhira is willing to go to any extent for the people she loves.

Meanwhile, Maira tells Abhira that mastering the dance will take her considerable time. Drawing a comparison between Geetanjali and Abhira, Maira advises her not to feel bad if she loses. Abhira, however, appreciates Maira’s fairness in giving her a chance. She reflects that while she has this opportunity because of Armaan, he is also the reason she is facing this challenge.

Elsewhere, Abhir is seen giving Maira music lessons when Kiara arrives unexpectedly. Curious about her visit, Abhir asks her the reason, and she informs him that Tanya has returned home, so she came to meet him. When Abhir asks if she has forgiven him, Kiara says she has, but when he offers her the role of his manager, she declines, clarifying that her forgiveness is not wholehearted yet.

Back at the dance practice, Abhira is visibly struggling to get the steps right. Kiara notices her difficulties and later updates Armaan about it. Meanwhile, Tanya brings Krish a cup of coffee. She makes it clear that her visit is not because she heard his apology or returned for his sake. When Krish questions her real reason for coming back, she explains that she has returned for the old version of Krish, who once had a pure heart. More than that, she says she came for herself, wanting to give both herself and their relationship another chance. Krish then asks what will happen if, even after this, the relationship still doesn’t work. They exchange an intense gaze, silently accepting the challenge of seeing how the second phase of their relationship unfolds. Determined to help, Armaan disguises himself as a Punjabi dance instructor to train Abhira. Though Abhira quickly recognises him and reacts angrily, Armaan persuades her to accept his help so she can build a stronger connection with Maira. After some hesitation, Abhira agrees.

In the precap, Dadu confronts Geetanjali about competing against Abhira, but she stands firm in defending her decision. Armaan advises Abhira to master Maira’s favourite dance step. However, during the competition, Abhira gets distracted when she notices Armaan in danger.
