Julia Roberts enjoyed an “incredible” day out with her husband, Daniel Moder, while attending the Wimbledon Championships in 2024.
During her first (and so far only) appearance at the tennis tournament, she wowed in a preppy white minidress, which she paired with a bright orange bag.

Julia Roberts served up a fresh look that perfectly aced the tenniscore trend while attending the Wimbledon Championships with her husband, Daniel Moder in 2024.
The 58-year-old actress made her first—and so far only—appearance at the iconic tennis tournament on July 14, 2024. While watching the men’s final at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, England, she stole the show in a preppy white minidress by Gucci.

Roberts’s dress featured the brand’s iconic logo on a breast pocket and was designed to resemble a polo shirt, with a button-up color and short sleeves. The hems were edged in a red and white stripes, which the star set off by carrying a bright orange purse.
She finished her outfit with minimal accessories, including a pair of black sunglasses, and wore her hair down with a center part. Moder, her husband of 24 years, dressed for the occasion in a navy blue suit, which he paired with a light blue dress shirt and a striped tie. He and Roberts matched with their glasses.
Cuddled up together in the Royal Box at Centre Court, the actress and the award-winning cinematographer sat alongside the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch and watched as Novak Djokovic faced off against Carlos Alcaraz in the final match.
“An incredible day at Wimbledon!” she gushed on Instagram at the time. However, she poked fun at her behavior at the tournament during an October 2025 appearance on The Graham Norton Show.

During an interview on the show with Roberts, Cumberbatch compared her overly excited reactions to every hit to a scene out of her classic film Pretty Woman. Recalling feeling “very excited” to sit next to the actor and her husband, she said that the “very special seating” made them, and thus her reactions, visible to the public.
“It’s impossible to be quiet in a scenario. Like it’s so exciting,” she said with a laugh.

The outing was noteworthy in that she and Moder, who married in 2022, rarely step out together. They most recently attended the 2026 Golden Globes together in January 2026 but opted out of posing for photos as husband and wife on the red carpet. Their awards show date night was one of their first public sightings since Wimbledon nearly two years earlier.
Roberts and Moder share three children—twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 21, and a 19-year-old son named Henry.

Back in 2018, she revealed that marrying Moder was the “best decision” she’d ever made. “It just gets deeper, it just gets more complex,” Roberts said about their marriage on Gwyneth Paltrow’s “Goop” podcast. “You’re young and you fall in love and go, ‘Yeah, we’re going to get married and we’re going to build a house and will have kids,’ and all these things that we all kind of dream of, but you don’t know if you’re going to like the same couch and you don’t know if he is going to want to get patterned towels.”
She continued, saying, “Then, of course, the bigger ones are, will you parent in a way that has balance to it, that holds hands in philosophy. You just don’t know these things until you are right there doing it and we are so fortunate that there is some kind of some explicable harmony to the way we do things.”
