According to Fire Marshal Tom Mooney, the cause of the fire remains under investigation. There are no known injuries.

Mooney said the fire is “it’s kind of skirting along the backsides of the residential homes out in the rural area right now. It’s kind of like running along the canal road.”

At 9:45 p.m. the Redmond Fire Department called in more resources while they reevaluated the fire.
