Person used hammer to break into Raleigh vape shop, steal $30,000 worth of product, store owner says :: WRAL.com

Police are investigating a break-in at a smoke shop on Capital Boulevard.

Around 2:15 a.m. on Monday, police responded to a breaking and entering at Mini City Tobacco & Vape, located at 4630 Capital Blvd., near Calvary Drive.

The WRAL Breaking News Tracker arrived shortly after and spoke to the owner, who said someone used a hammer to break into the business then stole about $30,000 of THCA products.

Surveillence video shows the suspect trying to break the glass multiple times before he gets inside. Video also shows him appearing to take a trash can full of product out of the store.

The person is not in custody.
