11:20 p.m. UPDATE: A male with a gunshot wound was transported to a local hospital with what is to believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. according to the Duluth Police Department.
DPD confirms that as of Monday night, no one is in police custody.
This is an open and active investigation.
The department asks anyone with information to call the Duluth Police Violent Crimes Unit at 218-730-5050.
DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) – Duluth Police confirm to Northern News Now that they’re investigating a shooting in Canal Park.
It happened around 10 p.m. in Canal Park, and as of 10:30 p.m., a large police presence remained outside of Little Angie’s restaurant.
Crews closed off the area outside the DeWitt-Seitz Building as they investigate.
No word yet on potential injuries or an arrest, however, Northern News Now witnessed an ambulance leave the scene shortly after the incident was reported.
