JACKSON, Tenn. (WBBJ) – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency confirmed a black bear sighting near the Carroll-Henderson county line Saturday. A viewer submitted video of the bear taken along State Highway 22.
What the TWRA is doing
After receiving reports, TWRA will attempt to determine whether the bear is acting naturally or causing a nuisance. Officials noted the bear’s close proximity to Natchez Trace State Park as a point of concern.
