LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Former Kentucky star guard Rhyne Howard is headed back to the WNBA All-Star stage.
Howard, now with the Atlanta Dream, was named a 2026 WNBA All-Star reserve, the Dream announced Tuesday. The selection makes Howard a four-time All-Star in her fifth pro season, making her the 19th player in league history to reach four All-Star picks in five seasons.
Howard entered Tuesday averaging 18.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and a league-leading 3.2 steals per game, while ranking second in the WNBA at 3.4 3-pointers made per game, according to the Dream. The 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game will be played July 25 at the United Center in Chicago at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Howard played at Kentucky, where she scored 2,290 career points, second in program history, and was selected No. 1 overall in the 2022 WNBA Draft.
