Another SpaceX rocket launch could be seen from central and eastern North Carolina Thursday morning.
The launch window opens at 5:05 a.m.
As the rocket launches east, you might be able to catch a glimpse of its vapor trail.
The sun rises earlier to the east. With the sun below our horizon, its beams are low enough and spread wide enough to illuminate the vapor trail.
The longer after 5:05 a.m. the launch happens, the lower the chance is that we get to view it.
Our sunrise is at 6:07 a.m.
So if you want to see the launch, you root for smooth operations when the launch window opens after 5 a.m.
