Traffic Alert: Deadly crash involving pickup truck and semi shuts down section of Zoo Parkway

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Emergency crews were on the scene of a fatal crash on Zoo Parkway Thursday afternoon.

The scene is just west of I-295 near the cruise terminal. A section of the roadway is blocked.

The Florida Highway Patrol tells News4JAX a semi-truck and pickup truck collided and the driver up the pickup was killed.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
