BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – On Monday, we featured Catholic High for Sportsline Summer Camp, and tonight we spotlight their cross-town rival U-High.
Since winning the State Championship in 2021, Andy Martin and Company have reached the semifinals in three of the last four years and hope to return to the pinnacle this fall.
U-High typically reloads, not rebuilds. The Cubs are graduating a plethora of talented seniors off of last year’s team. The Class of 2027 is likewise not lacking flair; however, it is a small group with only fourteen guys.
So adjusting to new leadership is of the utmost importance, as is continuing to mesh some of the new faces like Knox Kiffin and Kevin Smith Jr., among others, with the players that are already established within the program.
