HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance has launched a fundraiser after one of its Downtown Ducklings was taken from outside of the Explore More Discovery Museum on South Main St.
The bronze ‘Mother Duck’ statue is part of an award-winning scavenger hunt throughout downtown, which includes eight duckling statues, and guides visitors to different businesses and other locations.
HDR posted to social media about the missing statue, and encouraged people who may have information about its removal to email them or Explore more.

The organization also announced it launched a fundraiser with a goal of $4,000 to replace the statue. If you’re interested in donating you can do so here.
