KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The flash flooding threat continues for the region on Sunday as more slow-moving showers and storms move through.
It’s a day to use the First Alert Weather App to know where the storms are and where they are headed. Downpours will produce flash flooding at times with some small hail a potential. The Storm Prediction Center has parts of the region on a level one threat for severe storms.
Sunday – Watch for periods of down pours in the showers and storms. Winds gusting around the storms with temperatures back into the upper 80s to near 90. It will feel like 95 at times thanks to the humidity.
Monday – Storms will not be as widespread. Some will once again produce flooding concerns. Temperatures still humid feeling like the low to mid 90s.
Tuesday – It doesn’t really matter what the temperature is you’ll sweat with the humidity staying high. Dewpoints are in the low 70s for the start of the day and are in the mid 70s for the afternoon. This is miserably hot and sweaty weather.
