CLARKSBURG, W.Va (WDTV) – Clarksburg native and coaching veteran Jimbo Fisher is looking for a return to college football after nearly two years off the sideline.
Fisher is set to work on the ACC Network this season as an analyst for ESPN.
In a podcast appearance last week, Coach Fisher said that he has enjoyed spending time with his family since being fired from Texas A&M, but he still has “fuel in the tank” for his return to coaching.
Fisher pointed out that he has won 72% of his games, 80% of his playoff games and that he took A&M to their highest ever ranked finish in the 2020 season.
He still loves the game and would love to return if the ‘right situation’ presents itself, Fisher said.
