SEATTLE (CNN) — An oddly-shaped raccoon named “Jimothy” is going viral.
Videos of Jimothy wandering around Seattle have taken the internet by storm.
The raccoon is known to locals for his unique and spherical shape.
One local veterinarian believes Jimothy has a congenital spine-shortening disease.
“It does look quite unusual, but it is a condition that occurs in other mammals as well,” veterinarian Carrie Schenider said.
The rotund raccoon has achieved legendary status online and has inspired fan art.
