MILFORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – An injured bald eagle is getting the help it needs after some deputies were called to help it Tuesday.
Butler County deputies were called to US 127 and Oxford Middletown Road for the injured bird.
When they realized what it was, they contacted Shannon Frantz with Raptor Incorporated, who thought it might have a broken leg and was possibly hit by a car.
She said she believes it’s a bald eagle that is not fully grown. She said the eagles don’t get the white head and tail until they’re about five.
Frantz took the eagle to get specialized care.
