The Clayton family is publishing their first children’s book!

Jaron and Maggie Clayton, the couple behind TheBlondeBrewer on TikTok, have a picture book on the way! Don’t Throw Things at Daddy is based on the couple’s “Gangsta’s Paradise” skits, and is set to hit shelves on Sept. 9, the pair exclusively revealed to PEOPLE.

The couple’s skits generally see Jaron tell a joke that’s likely to enrage Maggie, and after he gives the punchline, Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise” plays as Jaron walks away in slow motion with a goofy grin on his face. Also caught in slow motion is Maggie, as she throws various objects towards Jaron’s head.

“We always wanted to write a book but didn’t quite know what direction to take, so our ideas were left half-written,” Jaron tells PEOPLE.

“It almost seemed like the birth of our first child was the push we needed,” he adds. “Having her gave us the idea to encapsulate the humor of our most well-known skits and allow it to be a fun book for parents to read with their children.”

The couple added that though their daughter, Aria Jean, is a bit too young to appreciate their upcoming picture book, they look forward to dedicating the project to her and to “give her something she can have from us as she grows.”

Jaron and Maggie gave viewers a clue or two regarding their big announcement — this book! — on Aug. 9, sharing a video of the two of them and baby Aria Jean, holding a frying pan. Longtime fans recognized the prop as a recurring item in their Gangsta’s Paradise skits, as Maggie has thrown a cast-iron skillet at Jaron multiple times now.

The couple recently welcomed Aria Jean, their first child, on Feb. 27, and announced her name on March 14.
