The Heritage Foundation chief economist, among the authors of “Project 2025,” E.J. Antoni, has hinted on the Fox News Digital web service Monday Aug. 4 that the monthly jobs report, criticized by President Trump for its big revisions in the most recent edition, be replaced by “more accurate, though less timely, quarterly data.” He said the “problem” of big revisions needs to be fixed “immediately.” The remarks were made before he was named as the prospective head of the BLS. In years past, Antoni has suggested that Social Security should be wound down, saying at some point it won’t be viable.
