EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – On Water Street alongside The Pickle, a mural was unveiled Thursday. It recognizes everything great about the city and Wisconsin baseball.
Part of the Brewer’s “Wisco Way” series, it recognizes the best parts of state baseball and outdoor culture.
Local artist Jenna Wood brought her skills to the project.
“I got a call from Visit Eau Claire, that the Brewers were looking for mural, and I said ‘of course.’ I was gonna do it. So, I got the Wisco graphics and put a design together, and just kinda, kept it under wraps for a while,” said Wood.
With the size of the mural, Wood says she could keep so much under wraps but said it was fun to reveal little pieces to the community as more and more of the project came together.
The unveiling coincides with the Eaux Claires Water Street Faire and the Eaux Claires music festival.
