Fatal crash on Route 65 in Allegheny County: Man dies, woman, 4-year-old hurt
Allegheny County police investigate crash on Ohio River Boulevard in Avalon
AVALON, Pa. —
A man has died and two others, including a 4-year-old girl, were injured in a crash on Route 65 in Allegheny County on Friday afternoon.
Emergency responders were called to the 1000 block of Ohio River Boulevard in Avalon for a crash between two vehicles shortly after 12:30 p.m.
County police said there was a man in one car and a woman with a four-year-old child in the other vehicle. All three were taken to hospitals in the area.
The medical examiner’s office said Paul Joseph Czambel, 71, of Oakdale, died at the hospital.
Police said the woman and the child were listed in stable condition.
The crash is under investigation by county homicide detectives. Anyone with information is asked to call 833-ALL-TIPS. Anonymous calls will be accepted.
