YARMOUTH, Maine — Yarmouth police are investigating a series of car burglaries and a theft.

At least eight cars were broken into Monday night and early Tuesday morning, according to a social media post from police. One car was stolen from a driveway.

These incidents occurred in the Princes Point Road, Sand Piper Cove, Curtis Road, and Pittee Creek Way neighborhoods, police say.

Police are asking anyone with surveillance footage of suspicious behavior or vehicles to notify them.

Police are also reminding people to lock their cars and take any valuables with them.
