Death investigation underway after Lee County deputies respond to structure fire on Ranchette Rd
LEE COUNTY, Fla. —
A death investigation is underway after deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a structure fire in the 11000 block of Ranchette Road Saturday afternoon.
Deputies say that one person was found dead.
In a post on X, LCSO says that detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are investigating.
According to South Trail Fire Protection & Rescue Service District, one of their fire investigators is working with LCSO and the State Fire Marshall’s Office to investigate the cause and origin of the fire.
