The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) shared Tuesday that 36 Equiniti employees in Mendota Heights will be laid off.
In a press release, DEED officials shared that the state received a letter from Equiniti Trust Company that 53 employees would be laid off at locations in Minnesota, New York and Wisconsin.
Employees who work at 1110 Centre Point Curve, Suite 101 in Mendota Heights will be affected. Remote employees may also be affected if they report to any of the impacted facilities.
DEED listed the positions laid off:
Securities Services Senior, Securities Services Specialist, Operations Manager, Client Service Consultant, Senior Operations Analyst, Transfer Specialist, VP – Control Books and Special Reconciliation, Restricted Stock Plan Specialist, Business Application Specialist, Correspondence Specialist, Senior Operations Analyst, DTC Team Lead, VP, DWAC Specialist, DWAC Associate, and Securities Services Lead.
These employees will have at least 90 days advance notice. Permanent layoffs begin Nov. 14.
