I love so many sports. Right now I’m really into the WNBA. I just moved here from Dallas, so I love Paige [Bueckers] and Arike [Ogunbowale]. They are both fantastic women on the Dallas Wings.

Growing up, I was really a huge fan of Maria Sharapova. I played tennis my whole life and tennis fashion, and women’s fashion is really hard in athletics in general. There are a lot of things that are geared towards men. Maria Sharapova started some lines of clothing. She would do collabs with Adidas and Nike, and it was cute, fun and colorful. It fit the way it was supposed to.
GABRIELLE PRAMPIN
My favorite female athlete is Gabby Douglas. I feel like I have a couple … Alysa [Liu] is definitely up there as of recently. I just love her passion for the sport and figure skating. I think it’s not taken as seriously as say like football or basketball. I think we need to bring more passion back to sports, especially the artistic ones. I like Gabby Douglas though. She’s just done so much.
ESMERALDA WRIGHT
Simone Biles. She is just such a powerhouse. She’s such a girl boss in so many ways. She doesn’t take crap from anybody, so role model.
If you could sit down and have coffee with Simone, what would you talk about?
I’d honestly love to know how she’s stayed so motivated and determined, because I’m sure it’s not been an easy path for her. I’ve always loved learning how and what kinds of things help people push through certain things in their lives.

Is there something about her that inspires you?
Yeah, I think, you know, we’re going through a time where aging is really frowned upon and you know plastic surgery is really huge. I think women have always struggled with getting older and just aging is not glorified for women.
