After more than a year since its initial reveal, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is almost here, and the PlayStation 5 version of the game will apparently receive some extra content.

PlayStation has announced a special PlayStation Plus Pack for Marvel Tokon.

Said special pack will contain two sets of bonuses for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

The first is a set of five PlayStation avatars for Captain America, Storm, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom and Ghost Rider.

Second is interestingly a set of in-game Result Screen Character Poses for all 20 launch characters, so it seems we could end up seeing more DLC for the game beyond characters, costumes, colors and stages.

This pack will become available when the game launches on August 6, and players shall have exactly one year to acquire it with the DLC set to be removed on August 6, 2027.

The pack itself is free, but you’ll have to of course spend money to be subscribed to any PlayStation Plus tier to get it.

There is no mention of these character poses becoming available for PC owners, so it may be console exclusive content for PlayStation users.

The announcement comes after the end of Marvel Tokon’s open beta test, which featured a number of PC issues, that the developers are promising to fix.

Last week, PlayStation and Arc System Works also revealed Marvel Tokon’s first DLC character in Phoenix Cyclops as well as a Marvel’s Wolverine costume and the game’s opening movie.

More information on the PlayStation Plus Pack for Marvel Tokon can be found on the PlayStation Blog.

Marvel Tokon is scheduled to release on August 6, 2026 for the PlayStation 5 and PC.

Add super heroic flair to your PlayStation Avatar and unlock unique in-game Character Poses with the MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls PlayStation Plus Pack, available Aug 6.
