At the Travelers Championship, PGA TOUR CEO Brian Rolapp outlined what the circuit’s plan is for 2028, and the main takeaway was this: the TOUR will feature two levels of tournaments.

The Championship Series will feature the best players in the world, the biggest tournaments in the world, all at iconic venues. AKA: The Show. The Challenger Series, on the other hand, is for rising stars and vets looking to get back to the TOUR’s biggest stage.

In recent days, some of the tournaments that will be featured in the Championship Series have been announced.

To help you (and ourselves, if we’re being honest) keep track of all the developments, we’ll continue to update this file as more tournaments are announced.

Note: The following are newly-announced additions to the Championship Series. The four major championships, THE PLAYERS, the playoff events, and that year’s team event (Ryder Cup or Presidents Cup) were already confirmed to be part of the Championship Series.
