This year’s WNBA All Star game was extra special for some area girls basketball players.
Angels Athletics, a local youth basketball organization headed by volunteers Marcus and Katrina Crawford, were invited to take part in a new initiative celebrating the league’s 30th season. The All-Star teams competed on behalf of girls sports organizations, with $100,000 in donations on the line.
