FARGO — Forum Communications Co. has launched CBS programming on its broadcast stations in the Bismarck and Minot regions, the company announced today, Aug. 1.
The acquisition, effective as of 6 a.m., enhances Forum Communications’ ability to serve Western North Dakota, giving viewers another way to access CBS programming while laying the groundwork for expanded local news, weather and sports coverage in the region, according to Josh Rohrer, vice president of broadcast.
What this means for viewers:
For antenna users, KBMY 17.2 and KMCY 14.2 will now broadcast over-the-air CBS network content.Cable, satellite and streaming customers should check their local channel guides because the CBS channel number may vary by provider.KBMY 17.1 and KMCY 14.1 remain as the ABC affiliates in the region, with no changes for viewers and programming.
