MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WSBT) — Drivers are urged to avoid Marion Street while more than a dozen units respond to a large commercial fire in Mishawaka.
Mishawaka Fire Department says the hazards are unknown at this time.
The fire began around 2 PM Saturday at the INSERV Solid Waste Processing Facility on East Marion Street, just north of Central Park.
Many roads in the surrounding area are closed while firefighters work to put out the blaze.
According to Mishawaka Utilities, many customers are without power due to the fire.
