New Home Kit Features Historic Crest: Como 1907 has unveiled its 26-27 home jersey by Adidas, which for the first time on a home kit, prominently features a refined historic crest inspired by their 1950s-1990s emblem.
Crest’s “Half Official” Status: Despite appearing on the new home kit, the retro crest is only “half official,” as the modern wave logo introduced in 2019 remains the club’s corporate identity for administrative, digital, and media purposes.
Design of the Historic Crest: The vintage crest on the match shirt is a reinterpretation of Como’s official emblem from the 1950s to the early 1990s, showcasing a classic shield with the city’s heraldic white cross on a red background and traditional lettering.
Italian club Como 1907, some days ago, officially unveiled its new 26-27 home jersey by Adidas, featuring a major retro design shift on the chest. For the first time on a home kit, the team has replaced its contemporary wave badge with´their “historic crest”.
Como Logo: “Vintage Crest” vs. Corporate Identity
The crest featured on the match shirt is a refined reinterpretation inspired by Como’s official emblem used from the 1950s through the early 1990s. It features a classic shield shape housing the city’s heraldic white cross on a red background, topped with traditional lettering. The design was initially revived in early 2025 for lifestyle apparel within the club’s “Crest Collection” before being promoted to match kits last season (third and special), and now the home.

Designed under the direction of Chief Brand Officer Rhuigi Villaseñor, the 26-27 home shirt comes in a deep blue base adorned with subtle tonal pinstripes. A classic polo collar incorporates red, white, and gold trim, matching details on the sleeve cuffs. Beneath the back collar, the local dialect phrase Semm Cumasch (“We are from Como”) is inscribed, connecting the kit directly to the city and its supporters.

However, the return of the retro crest is only “half official.” While the vintage shield takes center stage on the match kit, Como 1907 has not executed a permanent club rebrand (yet). The modern wave logo, introduced in 2019, remains the club’s official corporate emblem for administrative, digital, and media use.
Interestingly, Como also created a Como TV logo based on the historic logo.
The Como 1907 26-27 home jersey is available through the club’s official store for €125, fully equipped with front sponsorship and sleeve badges. Additionally, Adidas retail channels offer a clean, sponsor-free version of the home shirt priced at €100.
