Connor McMichael got married to his longtime girlfriend, Lene, on Saturday night, and several Washington Capitals players, past and present, were in attendance.
Dylan Strome and Martin Fehervary of the current Caps roster were at the ceremony, while John Carlson, now of the Tampa Bay Lightning, and Taylor Raddysh, now with the New York Rangers, were also in the house.
Matt Strome, who was a teammate with Connor on the Hershey Bears’ 2023 Calder Cup championship team, was also in attendance, per Tayler Strome’s Instagram.
Dylan Strome also posted a photo on Friday night with his little brother and Carlson during the couple’s welcome event.
The McMichaels’ public Zola page revealed that their wedding was held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge, Ontario.

McMichael’s wedding comes after the Capitals traded their former 2019 first-round pick to the St. Louis Blues as part of the Jordan Kyrou trade in late June. In mid-July, McMichael then signed a six-year, $40.5 million contract with the Blues that will keep him in St. Louis through 2032.
The McMichaels have two children and a black Lab.
