Craftech Holdco (a portfolio company of investment firm Sage Park) has acquired Ontario, Calif.-based Balda C. Brewer (BCB), the contract manufacturing subsidiary of Stevanato Group.
BCB manufactures engineered plastic components for medical device customers across North America and Europe. Its 140,000-square-foot facility includes 7,000 square feet of white room space and over 40,000 square feet of ISO Class 7 and Class 8 cleanrooms. The company supports multiple medtech product categories through a range of manufacturing and value-added services.
The combined businesses will operate more than 50,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity in Tijuana, Mexico, approximately 190,000 square feet in the U.S., and more than 55,000 square feet of cleanroom space, serving medical, industrial, sporting goods, automotive, and specialty markets.
Founded in 1979, Craftech manufactures advanced plastic components for medical, life sciences, high-tech, and consumer applications. The company supports OEM customers from engineering through manufacturing and operates 110,000 square feet of facilities in Anaheim and Tijuana with 45 injection molding machines ranging from 38 to 720 tons.
