Placer County bear sightings continue, this time in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Calif. —
Lincoln police on Friday warned people of a bear sighting in the Sun City Lincoln Hills area.
The bear was first spotted in the area of Wagon Wheel Lane and Overland Lane. Its last known sighting was in the area of Oak Tree Lane and Highway 193.
Police said they notified state wildlife officials but there were no reports of aggressive behavior by the bear.
It’s the latest bear sighting reported by authorities in Placer County.
Earlier this week, police in Roseville and Rocklin also warned the public about bears.
It’s unclear if the sightings involve the same bear or multiple bears.
