GATE CITY, Va. (WCYB) — Mac McClung has decided to sign with Basquet Girona in Spain for his first international contract.
The three-time NBA Dunk Contest winner most recently signed a two-way deal for the Chicago Bulls in February.
Basquet Girona plays in the Liga ACB, the country’s top league, and is owned by three-time NBA All-Star Marc Gasol.
This marks the first time in McClung’s career that he will travel overseas to play.
McClung is also tabbed as one of the greatest G League players ever, picking up two MVP awards while leading the league in scoring.
