For the second straight year, Alperen Sengun will be an 87 overall in NBA 2K.
The Houston Rockets big man’s rating in 2K27 will make him the 33rd highest-rated player in the game, slightly ahead of teammate Amen Thompson. Thompson will be an 86 overall and is the 41st highest-rated player.
Unlike Thompson, however, none of Sengun’s attributes have officially been revealed yet. Thompson’s vertical, driving dunk, speed with the ball, and perimeter defense rating all rank inside the top 10 in each category.
As a rookie, Sengun was a 79 overall before dropping to a 77 in his second year. In NBA 2K24, Sengun improved to an 83 before earning an 85 overall rating ahead of last year’s 87.
This year, Sengun was an All-Star for the second straight season, averaging a career-high 6.2 assists per game while scoring over 20 points per game for the second time in his career. The Turkish big man also shot over 30% from deep this year on 1.8 attempts per game after regressing from beyond the arc in each of the last two seasons.
