Rain chances linger after flooding, with humid weather ahead
CINCINNATI —
Good news! The Whitewater River is back down to action stage after catastrophic flooding and forced evacuations.

The front headed our way stalled out along I-70. This still will throw us some scattered rain and maybe a storm, but we likely no longer need to worry about any severe weather or aggressive rainfall causing more flash flooding.
Now, it is very humid and the ground is saturated so even an inch of rain will possibly cause some areas of standing water. The chance for rain lingers into the early afternoon. It will be humid Friday with a high near 86 degrees.

This weekend brings tropical humidity and high heat. It will feel like around 100 degrees both Saturday and Sunday. A pop-up is possible Saturday afternoon.

Sunday night into Monday a cold front moves through. This will make it feel better on Tuesday and Wednesday. Finally some dry weather!
