Dauphin County road closed for at least 6 hours due to crash, dispatch says

Emergency crews are at the scene of a crash in Dauphin County, according to dispatchers.

The collision happened in the 2400 block of Derry Street near South 24th Street in Harrisburg at 10:26 a.m. on Friday.

The extent of injuries and number of vehicles involved are unknown at this time.

According to dispatchers, the 2300 and 2400 blocks of Derry Street will be closed for at least the next six hours while crews conduct an investigation.

The Harrisburg Bureau of Police is leading the investigation.
