Happy anniversary!
As Bachelor Nation fans know, Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti Haibon first met on Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2015.
The two got engaged on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and tied the knot in August 2019.
Since then, they’ve welcomed son Dawson into their lives in 2022 and their second son, Hayden, in 2024.
This year, the fan-favorite couple celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary and took to social media this week to reflect on their nuptials.
Ashley posted a highlight video from their wedding ceremony, edited to feel like a romcom movie.
“We wanted our wedding to be a film. We wanted to feel like we were in different scenes in a great romance movie throughout the weekend,” she remembered. “I always wanted a traditional, intimate feeling ceremony in a chapel like Jamie and Landon’s in ‘A Walk to Remember.’ I always dreamed of the reception being in a grand ‘Beauty in the Beast’/’Titanic’ inspired ball room with doors that opened to the ocean. I don’t like cliches, but it was a dream come true finding that in Rosecliff, one of the Newport Mansions. The nod to roses was poetic.”
Ashley continued, “We joke that we’ll tell the kids that our wedding, seven years ago today, was the best day of our lives… As two romantics who like to see life through a movie lens, our wedding day was a true gift.”
The Bachelor Nation star also expressed gratitude for her “leading man,” writing, “Jared, you are just as dreamy to me as the day we met 11 years ago when ‘you had me at hello.’ I thank God every day for you being my partner in this life. Like I said in ‘Paradise,’ everyone needs a Jared.”
So sweet! Jared also took to social media to reflect on their marriage and posted photos from over the years.
“A very special Happy Seventh Anniversary to my beautiful wife, Ashley,” he expressed. “I first got to know Ashley through her extremely generous heart and loyal friendship. Then I got to know Ashley as a devoted and loving wife. And now I know Ashley as not only both of those things, but also the most incredibly loving, compassionate and caring mother to our wonderful boys… I am very lucky to have her as my wife and I know the boys feel very lucky to have her as their mother. We love you.”
We love looking back on Jared and Ashley’s wedding day and love watching their love continue to grow. Cheers to many, many more years. Happy anniversary, you two!
