FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – A man is facing numerous charges after a drug bust that occurred in Franklin County, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said.
FCSO said their Special Operations Division began surveilling possible drug/narcotic activity in the Boones Mill area in Feb. 2026. During the investigation, they found a man driving a truck hauling another vehicle on a car dolly. An investigation was started on the vehicle on the car dolly.
Authorities said that during the investigation, a K9 alerted to possible drugs/narcotics in the vehicle. Because of this, investigators began a systematic search of vehicles, which resulted in the seizure of the following :
Approximately 889 grams of Methamphetamine
Approximately 16 grams of Fentanyl, Xylazine, and Ortho-methylfentanyl
Approximately 9 grams of Cocaine
Approximately 8 grams of Heroin, Fentanyl, and Xylazine
Oxycodone
Alprazolam
Firearm
Law enforcement then issued warrants for 47-year-old Drew Plaster of Henry County. He is now facing the following charges:
Possession With Intent to Distribute (PWID) more than 200 grams of a mixture and substance containing Methamphetamine
Possession With Intent to Distribute (PWID) Fentanyl
Possession With Intent to Distribute (PWID) Cocaine
Possession With Intent to Distribute (PWID) Heroin
Possession With Intent to Distribute (PWID) Ortho-methylfentanyl
Possession of Oxycodone
Possession of Alprazolam
Possession of Firearm by a convicted felon within 10 years
Possession of Firearm while PWID Sch. I/II
Plaster was served with these charges on Aug. 11. He is now in custody at the Henry County Adult Detention Center.
