Firefighter injured after early morning blaze in Lancaster County, chief says

A firefighter was injured after a house fire in Lancaster County early Monday, according to the Reinholds Fire Company chief.

Crews were called to a home in the 500 block of South Windy Mansion Road in West Cocalico Township at 2:09 a.m.

The fire has since been brought under control.

According to the chief, one firefighter was injured and transported to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

The chief said no other injuries were reported.

Crews remain at the scene. Traffic may be restricted in the area.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire marshal.
