Atlanta police officer shot in Oakland City neighborhood

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — An Atlanta police officer was shot Monday morning.

It happened at an address along the 1400 block of Clark Howard Lane near Lee Street in the Oakland City neighborhood.

It is unclear what led to the shooting or the condition of the officer.

Several ramps on I-20 were blocked to traffic as the officer was being transported to Grady Hospital at around 9:15 a.m.
