In a press release on Tuesday, Purdue Athletics announced a sponsorship agreement with Progressive for the 2026 football season.

“We are thrilled to bring Progressive onboard as a partner for the 2026 season of Purdue Football,” said Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Tommy McClelland. “As we continue elevating the Purdue brand, our work with Learfield and our local Purdue Sports Properties team remains of the highest priority. Thank you to those groups for securing this new opportunity for sponsorship placement within Ross-Ade Stadium.”

“We must be innovative in finding new revenue sources for Purdue Athletics,” said Purdue Sports Properties General Manager Mark Walpole. “This partnership with Progressive provides significant revenue for Purdue Athletics while showcasing the outstanding Progressive brand and message to our passionate Boilermaker fan base.”

The agreement consists of an on-field Progressive logo in Ross-Ade Stadium, as well as “in-game videoboard features, in-venue LED signage, digital and social media integrations and other game day experiences designed to engage fans before kickoff, throughout the game and beyond the final whistle,” according to the announcement.

The sponsorship agreement becomes new Tommy McClelland’s first move as Purdue Athletics Director, who officially started his tenure on Monday.

Purdue becomes the 13th school to partner with Progressive with this sponsorship, joining USC, Oregon, Ole Miss, Georgia, Iowa, Colorado, Kansas State, Syracuse, SMU, Texas Tech, Wake Forest, and Boise State.

The on-field logo will be unveiled when Purdue kicks off the 2026 football season against Indiana State on September 4th, which will be a 7:00 p.m. ET kick on Big Ten Network.
