Purdue LB Owen Davis is no longer with the program, GoldandBlack.com has learned. A school spokesman confirmed Davis’ departure.
The 6-3, 230-pound Davis, from Richwood, Ohio, didn’t play in any games in 2025. Davis appeared in four in 2024 after redshirting in 2023.
Davis, who has earned his degree, is the second player to leave the program this month, joining OL Marc Nave.
Davis’ departure chips away at linebacker depth. The unit is led by Charles Correa, Jojo Hayden, Anthony Speca and Winston Berglund. Davis looked hard-pressed to carve out a key role in 2026.
