On July 30, 2026, the United States Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated six individuals and entities in China, India, Russia, and Iran for supporting Mahan Air or the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The designations were issued under Executive Order 13224, as amended. They include companies serving as general sales agents for Mahan Air in China, India, and Russia, as well as Tang Xin, the managing director of one of those companies. OFAC also designated Iran-based DadeNegar Startup Studio, which the Treasury described as an IRGC-affiliated front company involved in supporting military targeting.
As a result of the designations, property and interests in property of the designated persons that are in the U.S. or in the possession or control of U.S. persons are blocked. U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions involving them, and certain transactions may also expose foreign financial institutions to secondary sanctions.
