Daniel Theis has not completely ruled out finishing his career alongside Dennis Schröder in Braunschweig, although such a move is not currently part of his plans. “If Dennis plays in Braunschweig again, I’ll probably already be retired,” Theis told Braunschweiger Zeitung. “Everyone who knows Dennis knows what he’s like. I feel like he’ll play for the national team until he’s 40.” The former NBA center believes Schröder will eventually end his career with his hometown club: “In the end, he’ll play in Braunschweig. If it happens earlier and he calls me, and maybe contacts a few other people, then we can talk about it.”
