The Dallas Cowboys recently kick-started their preseason campaign against the Los Angeles Rams. Jake Ferguson and the rest of the squad are getting ready to get over last season’s disaster. While Ferguson is busy with the new season, his fiancée, Haley Cavinder, is doing her bit to cheer for him.

The former Miami Hurricanes guard, who often shares her life updates on social media, took to Instagram stories to share a few pictures. Cavinder posted several pictures of the new Cowboys merch she has received.

Cavinder wrote:

The merch included shirts, shorts, vests, and jackets, all crafted in the Cowboys’ colors and logo.

Cavinder was particularly impressed by the shorts and jackets in the merch collection. She wrote:

Needless to say, Cavinder is ready for the season. It wouldn’t be surprising if she makes an appearance at the AT&T Stadium on Saturday for the second preseason game against the Ravens.

A week ago, Cavinder made a trip to Oxnard, Calif., to support her fiancé. Ferguson has been with the Cowboys since 2022, but this will be the first time Cavinder can visit him as his fiancée. The couple announced their engagement in April this year.

During her trip to the Cowboys training camp, Cavinder posted a video on the Cavinder Twins TikTok account, embracing the new environment.

“Retired college athlete means full wag this season,” she captioned the video.

What started with a DM from Ferguson years ago has turned into one of the internet’s favorite couples.

Jake Ferguson suffered an injury during practice

Ahead of the preseason opener against the Rams, the Cowboys had a practice session which turned scary for a while. During an 11-on-11 teal drill, Ferguson collided with linebacker Kenneth Murray. The collision left Ferguson lying on the ground.

After a while, he got up and walked out on his own, but that was his last moment during that day’s practice. Later, coach Brian Schottenheimer informed the media that Ferguson was doing well and there was nothing to worry about.

That’s the direction Brian Schottenheimer has taken after becoming the new head coach. He wants his players to be physical in practice. He said:

“We’re going to practice physical. I challenged our guys yesterday, and I’ll share this with you guys because I’m incredibly proud of it.”

“I told them, ‘Hey, we’re going in pads. We need to get our pads down and play with better pad level. We got to have a physical practice. In the first two periods, if we do it right, which they’ve always done it right, then I’ll take them off and put the soft shells on.”

This shows the intention of the team heading toward the regular season. If they’re going the extra mile in practice, one can expect the Cowboys to do something special this season.
